Sport Seminar
26 November 2004 (aftenoon session)
As part of the Charter Review process, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport has carried out projects that examine specific aspects of the BBC, including a number of crosscutting studies of the BBC’s impact in various areas. One of these studies was on the BBC’s impact on sport.
As part of this exercise, the BBC produced a focused submission for Charter Review in relation to its role in the area of sport. The scope of this document was agreed in advance with DCMS. It formed one of the papers for the Sports seminar held by Lord Burns on 26 November from 1.30 - 3.30.
