Quantitative Research to Inform the Preparation of the BBC Charter Review 2004 Report of a Research Study Conducted for COI Communications Research Unit on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport

This was commissioned from the research agency MORI and was conducted between 10 May - 6 June 2004. This type of research was key to the completion of our programme, as it was able to give statistical weight to, and verify findings from the qualitative and deliberative research. MORI conducted a detailed survey of attitudes by holding face-to-face interviews with a UK nationally representative sample of 2,068 people aged 16+. These interviews each lasted around 30 minutes and covered a myriad of issues surrounding the main consultation questions.
