Post Green Paper Research
14 March 2006
We commissioned a focused qualitative research project to test two specific policy areas set out in the Green Paper: Conducted between 13-24 October 2005, focus groups consisting of people of similar ages and backgrounds came together for two hours’ in depth consideration of the questions set out in the Green Paper on these two areas. This involved open forum discussion of personal and group views, with the use of word boards to help stimulate the debate around these questions. This qualitative approach was of value as the results provided indications of opinions and attitudes held by a wide variety of the UK's general public aged from 12 - 75 years. The research was commissioned from Opinion Leader Research, a research agency specialising in qualitative research.
