Further revision of Draft Royal Charter for the Continuation of the British Broadcasting Corporation Between the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the British Broadcasting Corporation - July 2006

On 3 July, a further amended version of the Draft Charter between the Secretary of State and the BBC have been published for debate in the House of Commons. The revised documents embody further work by the Government. The approval debate on the Agreement is scheduled to take place on 10 July. The Charter will be submitted for approval by Her Majesty in Council in a separate process.
