Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee

The first evidence session took place on 25 May 2004 and evidence sessions concluded on 2 November 2004. Evidence was taken from, amongst others, the BBC, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Ofcom.
The Committee published their report on 16 December 2004. It contained 38 recommendations. On 2 March 2005, the Secretary of State published the Government’s response to the Select Committee’s report.
