Children and Young People (CYP)

Children's Meetings and Reports

We held four events for children and young people aged 8-16, which were arranged by the National Children's Bureau. These took place in London and Omagh, Northern Ireland and involved 120 children and young people in total.

To get the most from the events, the focus was very much on encouraging the children and young people to open up and let us have their thoughts. The discussions focused deliberately on aspects such as the kinds of programmes they watched, websites they used, and what they thought was good and bad about the BBC. A full report of the findings of these events is below along with a version which has been translated for children and young people
